Maria Aguilar is a Mexican American first-generation college graduate. In 2019, she graduated magna cum laude from Bowie State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in social justice. Having attended an HBCU has been an invaluable experience for Maria since it enabled her to gain insight in issues connected with race and gender, and finding strength in community, which are all topics that she is passionate about. 

Maria joined Jezic & Moyse as a litigation paralegal in 2023. Maria strives to provide exceptional legal service worthy of our clients through three principles: hard work, candor, and compassion. 

Before joining Jezic & Moyse, Maria worked at an employment law firm in Silver Spring for almost 4 years. Maria enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her family.
