Attorney Alvarado-Taylor wins Peace Order on Appeal in Montgomery County

In June, Jezic & Moyse Attorney Jamie Alvarado-Taylor won a Peace Order appeal for a Montgomery County resident who was being repeatedly harassed by her neighbor. Ms. Alvarado-Taylor was able to convince a Montgomery County Circuit Court judge to overturn the District Court’s decision and to grant the Maryland peace order by demonstrating that despite the neighbor’s pleas of being a peaceful woman, her actions and statements towards the resident were racially motivated and did in fact rise to the level of harassment. The Judge granted the Peace Order for the full six months allowable under Maryland Law.
