Silver Spring, Maryland person injury attorney Jonathan Carroll won a difficult case for a 12-year-old boy who was hit by a car after running toward an ice cream truck. The court found that the driver owed a heightened duty of care given that there were children in the neighborhood and an ice cream truck was present. There was no offer by the insurance company before trial.
