During bond review, Mr. Jezic convinced a Circuit Court judge in Prince George’s County to reduce his client’s bond from $250,000 to $50,000 despite his client’s alleged confession to sexual child abuse and despite two previous unsuccessful attempts in District Court to reduce the bond. The prosecutor vehemently objected. The client is now free, and working with Mr. Jezic to prove that he did not confess. This is a clear case of how confession law is not as clear cut as it may seem.
